![]() HH Antiques, a 15-year-old retail store based in Toledo, Ohio, needed to update its image to make itself more findable on the internet, attract new customers and provide a better experience for people serious about collecting antiques. Featuring more than 10,000 heirlooms, collectibles and vintage furniture, HH Antiques also wanted to appeal to a younger, more Web-savvy crowd. ![]() ![]() HH Antiques now gets 50% of their new business from customers who visited the Web site. The average number of Web site visitors doubled since the re-launch and the total number of page views tripled. The site is attracting these new customers with higher quality photos of the antiques available in the shop, a printable coupon and a blog for the shop owner to announce the shop's news and special events. The site directs customers easily to the brick-and-mortar store with the address and store hours displayed prominently in the top right corner of all pages, as well as the addition of a Google map. The site has also become more sticky, attracting repeat viewers with its antiques resources information. |
