Based in Boulder, Colorado and offering environmentally sustainable designs, Doerr Architecture needed a Web site that reflected its highly innovative, affordable and sustainable brand image. In addition, it was badly in need of a site that showcased its great portfolio instead of detracting from it. Visitors were easily bored or frustrated with the visual design and organization of the site and often left without exploring many of the pages.

The new site provided Doerr Architecture with a cutting edge look-and-feel and doubled visits to the company's online portfolio. The site prominently featured more than four times as many high-quality photos of buildings and projects from all angles using an efficient and creative page layout. Throughout the site, users were drawn back to the portfolio and featured designs through cross-linking and more prominent calls-to-action. The new site organization also better organized the site's written content and gave the company's online image more depth and meaning, another important aspect of the client's brand.
