Studio pledges to sustainable design
by News Editor
Susan Snipes of Q Digital Studio has just signed a pledge to create and foster sustainable design via Design Can Change. Design Can Change is a non-commercial initiative aimed at bringing together the design community and making system-wide change to how the work of designers affects the planet.
“We’re [Designers are] problem-solvers. And we’re uniquely positioned to make an impact by educating our clients, promoting sound vendor choices, and partnering with organizations that are dedicated to making a difference,” says Susan Snipes. “This movement fits well with Q Digital Studio’s philosophy of sustainability and seems like another great way to raise awareness. I’ll be sharing this with other designers and hope they find it a useful resource.”
Design Can Change provides education about climate change issues, talking points for designers to share with their clients, ways to bring sustainable practices into designers’ studios and many other resources.
