AIGA Design Conference coming to Denver

The upcoming AIGA Design Conference: Next will be held in Denver this October 2007. The conference is a biennial gathering of the design community to celebrate design excellence, reinforce friendships and connections and stimulate thinking about the critical issues that surround design practice. This conference is recognized as one of the most engaging, provocative, inspiring and fun conferences offered in the design community.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Next”: what’s next for the relevance of design, and the roles and responsibilities of the designer in a changing world of political and environmental upheaveal.

This year marks the first time the conference will be held in Colorado, and AIGA Colorado is involved in making the event a success. Susan Snipes, founder and president of Q Digital Studio has registered to attend the conference. She will be joined by approximately 3,000 designers from around the world at this landmark design event.
